Facilitating graceful aging
Any more questions?
Just because you are getting older, it doesn’t mean you have to feel old! Our physios understand how your body changes as you get older and can help you to regain movement, strength and fitness.
We provide all the regular services of:
- dry needling/acupuncture
but alter it to suit your situation.
Over 50s Pilates
Our Over 50s Pilates classes are designed specially for more mature and less subtle bodies. We offer simpler options if you have difficulty with an exercise, or more challenging options if you want to push harder.
Join our Over 50s Pilates Classes to:
- improve core strength
- general strength
- balance (Balance is something that tends to deteriorate as one ages, however there are often exercises that can be done to restore it)
Our highly skilled physiotherapists are trained in Pilates and understand how your body ages! They have been teaching Pilates classes with clients between the ages of 50 and even up to 80years old.
Along with all the typical conditions physios treat, below are some of the conditions common in more mature bodies that we can also help with.
- Joint stiffness and pain
- Spinal and nerve pain
- General weakness
- Falls and balance
- Strengthening with menopause
- Posture and rounded shoulders
- Rehabilitation after spinal or joint surgery
- Difficulty getting up from floor
- General mobility and flexibility
